Every time we see someone else succeeding we wonder how they did it? We ask questions what’s the difference between them and us? Why are we not as lucky as they are. Many times, when we read stories about others making a fortune in an investment, or a deal that we missed, we wish we had a time machine that could take us back in time and we can make our wrong investments right. If you had bought a share of Apple 20 years ago, when it was under $10, today it will be worth $21,000. But you can’t go back twenty years to correct that mistake. And please forgive me if you did buy the stock. The example may not be for you 🙂
In many of my blog posts and videos, I have told about the most precious and scarce resource of all – more precious than money, even more, precious than health – is Time.
In the Marvel movie – Avengers Endgame, one of the things that Tony Stark says is “No amount of money ever bought a second of time”. Time is precious. Its the most important asset.
So, how do we make the best use of time? The time that you have already lost is not going to come back. So how do you invent the time machine that will take you back where you can start?
Watch this video as I describe the step by step process that you can follow along…and if you are more of a read and learn type of person, then keep reading!
Our time machine needs two inputs – When and Where.
The First Step is to decide where you want to go in the future? The time machine needs to know the exact coordinates of where you need to go otherwise it will take you to the wrong place. So, first thing first, Close your eyes and imagine – in vivid 4K colors – where you want to go, what you want to do, who do you want to be. Do you need a mansion? Imagine it. What color is your car? How many cars do you have? What’s your family like? How many kids do you have? How are you giving back to society…Imagine everything as if you are living that life. Don’t spare any details. Set this in the WHERE input of your time machine. This is where you want to be – this is who you want to be. Great!
Now, the second part – When. Once you are sure where you want to go and what you want to be. Decide when you want it. 5, 10 years from now, 20 years from now? When do you want to be where you are going? Decided? For sake of this example, let’s say you want to be there in 5 years.
The third step is to now open your eyes – Your time machine has brought you back 5 years from where you want to be! NOW is the time to take action. NOW is the time to start working to get to that WHERE and be that WHAT.
NOW is the only time you got. Any time machine you try in the world, it will always take you to NOW. This is what changes everything.
Your NOW is here. Where are you?
